How It Works
USING YOUR CARD
- Card Load/Reload - Go to your local supported retailer and present your card and the amount of money you would like to load onto the card. Your card will be returned to you with the funds loaded on the card with a receipt of confirmation.
- Direct Payroll Deposit - You may have your payroll or other payments electronically transferred to your card
- Card to Card Funds Share - You may send money from one card to another after accessing your card account via the Internet or calling the automated telephone system.
Loading and Reloading Your Card
You may load money on to your card using any of the methods below.
GET CASH
Get Cash at ATM's - Insert your card into the ATM and enter your 4-digit PIN (found on a separate paper card). Choose "Checking" when prompted and follow the instructions.
Make Purchases and Get Cash Back - Swipe your card in the machine, select "debit" and enter your 4-digit PIN. Follow the instructions. Some retailers allow you to get additional cash back with purchases. Ask the cashier.
HOW DO I CONDUCT A CARD TO CARD FUNDS SHARE?
You will simply need to log on to your card account either via the web or telephone (as shown in the earlier instructions “USING YOUR CARD”). Once there you will choose the option to send money. You will be asked for the amount you wish to send and the card number to which you are sending the money. Don’t forget to add the amount of the fee for the transaction to your total. For example, if you have $25.00 on your card account then you will not be able to send $25.00. You must first subtract the fee for this transaction from your balance. This is the amount that you will be able to send. (Please view your Terms and Conditions to see the fee for conducting a Card to Card Funds Share.)
CUSTOMER SERVICE/ACCESSING YOUR CARD ACCOUNT
Call Customer Service or Access Your Card Account - Dial the toll-free number found on the back of your card and follow the directions given by the automated telephone system.
- Register Card/Customer Service- You may incur a fee to speak with a live Customer Service Representative. (Please view your Terms and Conditions to see the fee for speaking with Customer Service.)
- Access Card Account - use the automated telephone system. You will be asked for your 16-digit Card Number and then your Pass Code. You can change the Pass Code, check card account balance, review transaction history, or send funds from one card to another.

WHERE CAN I GET A SET OF CARDS?
The UniBanc Maestro® Cards are sold primarily by merchants located in areas where the demand or need for sending money is present. Look for window stickers that say “Global Recash”.
- Card Number is the 16-digit number embossed on the front of your Card. Use this number when you access your card account via the Internet or phone.
- Pass Code is the 8-digit number printed on the card stuffer that is located where the card was once affixed. This is used to access your card account via the phone or Internet. You will be prompted to change your Pass Code once you have logged into your card account for the first time. Don’t pick easy numbers like 1234 or 0000.
- PIN (Personal Identification Number) is the 4-digit number printed on the card stuffer right next to the pass code. It is very important that you memorize this number and keep it in a safe place. Use this number when you use your card (a) to get cash at ATM's (Automated Teller Machines) or (b) to make purchases at retail locations (POS) that display the network symbols on the back of your card.
